This years Children's Gala sees the return of the Youth Games.

Local cadet groups , along with Scouts, BBs and Police Scotland Youth Volunteers will compete for the trophy, using their teamwork, coordination, strength and cooperation - who will you support?

Primal Combat Fusion are hosting a pre games warm up that anyone can join in, and local sports clubs will be doing 'come and try' sessions.

All this with the usual rides, entertainment and goody bags with added stalls and food outlets promise to make a great, fun, community day out!

The gala takes place on Saturday 13 June from 12pm to 4pm at Fisherrow Links (look out for the big white marquee).

Buy your tickets online or from our partner vendors, Blueberry on the High Street and Elena Di Rollo on Bridge Street.

Children's Gala and Youth Games

Remembrance

Each year the Community Council arranges the sale of poppies to support the Earl Haig Fund Scotland, which supports veterans of the British Armed Forces and their dependents. On Remembrance Sunday, members of the cadets march along the High Street and an act of remembrance takes place at the War Memorial at 12.15pm.
We are also integral in organising the selling of Poppies across Musselburgh.

Christmas

At Christmas, the Community Council arranges the Christmas Lights in the town. On Advent Sunday there is a torchlit procession along the High Street followed by a short service. Children are invited to receive a selection box of chocolates following the service. If you would like to make a donation towards the cost of this event please get in touch or use the 'Donate' button.
