This years Children's Gala saw the return of the Youth Games.
Local cadet groups, along with Scouts, BBs and Police Scotland Youth Volunteers competed for the trophy, using their teamwork, coordination, strength and cooperation. and local sports clubs gave 'come and try' sessions.
All this with the usual rides, entertainment and goodie bags, added stalls and food outlets made for a great, fun, community day out!
The Community Council organises and subsidises this event. If you would like to make a donation towards the cost please get in touch or use the 'Donate' button.
We've made a short survey to gather your feedback to help make next year's event even better. Please spare two minutes to fill it in.

Children's Gala and Youth Games

Remembrance
Each year the Community Council arranges the sale of poppies to support the Earl Haig Fund Scotland, which supports veterans of the British Armed Forces and their dependents. On Remembrance Sunday, members of the cadets march along the High Street and an act of remembrance takes place at the War Memorial at 12.15pm.
We are also integral in organising the selling of Poppies across Musselburgh.

Christmas
At Christmas, the Community Council arranges the Christmas Lights in the town. On Advent Sunday there is a torchlit procession along the High Street followed by a short service. Children are invited to receive a selection box of chocolates following the service. If you would like to make a donation towards the cost of this event please get in touch or use the 'Donate' button.
